Hi, I'm Yvonne, the face behind Forever Vintage!
I'm passionate about reviving vintage furniture, and ensuring it gets appreciated and loved again. Some pieces can be revived, but lots of the pieces I get from landfill need that little something extra!

I love all the different ways I can use my creativity in furniture design. My favourite style is a mix of the original wood grain with a modern twist, and I love when a client wants something that will make a statement!
From the initial designing, which I do using Photoshop, to the actual transformation that happens when an old tired piece is completely revived. It really is my dream job!

My Story
With business and hospitality management degrees, I started out working in the hospitality and higher education sectors, but it wasn't something I was passionate about. I then caught the love of learning and education whilst teaching English abroad and so returned to Scotland to train in primary teaching. I loved being creative as a teacher but always dreamed of a career in something where I could design and let my creativity loose!
I have dabbled in graphic design, photography, hand painted gifts, and art/craft classes for children!
Maybe in the future I'll combine my teaching skills with my new passion and help others take the leap....
